3 Reasons Why A Cleaning Service Costs Less
November 12th, 2009When people are considering a cleaning service for their home or office, they often find themselves counting the cost and wondering if it is worth it. After all, the thinking goes: “Why pay someone else to do it when I can do it myself?”
Saving money is important and many people are therefore surprised to discover that a cleaning service is actually cheaper.
Count the value of your time
Your time is precious. At work, you could spend your time earning money instead of cleaning. At home, you could spend your time with loved ones instead of cleaning. Both of these options are far superior, far more worthwhile, and far more “valuable” (either from a dollar perspective or a relationship perspective) than cleaning.
Lower health costs and lost time costs
Let’s face it: Hiring a cleaning crew will probably mean that your cleaning will get done. You’re busy and can’t always give your home or office the thorough cleaning it deserves. As a result, dangerous germ-ridden dirt, grime, and dust can build up and actually make you sick. Not cleaning means an environment that encourages illness! And illness leads to higher health costs or lost time from work – both of which are quite costly.
Prolonged value
Over time, dirt can build up on your things and they can get worn into the surfaces and slowly degrade them, shortening their lifespan. However, when things are clean, they last longer. They retain their value longer so you won’t have to replace that carpet or those chairs or that computer or those curtains as often as you would if they weren’t cleaned.
